International Day

Join us as we celebrate International Day on Friday, October 17, 2025, highlighting the countries of Azerbaijan, Barbados, Iceland, India and Spain.

This beloved annual BHE event will include a parade of nations, demonstrations, cultural presentations, food tastings and hands-on crafts!

GET INVOLVED!

• Do you have a passion for the culture or cuisine of any of the featured countries? Consider grabbing a few friends and join a food booth team! For more information or to sign up, please contact Allison Hopkins. 
• Do you own any traditional clothing or items from Azerbaijan, Barbados, Iceland, India or Spain? We would love to feature them in the display case outside the cafeteria throughout October. Please contact Allie Walton if you have items to lend.

We are seeking volunteers, including classroom chaperones and help with decorations teardown. Sign up to help! All volunteers must be SBISD approved.

Chaperone Needs:
Morning: Handy, Horton, McMillan, Miller, Wisenbaker
Afternoon: Craft, Handy, Hemphill, Howard, Magee, McCue, McMillan, Miller, Phan, Templin, Turcott, Valdez, Williamson, Wisenbaker
