International Day on Friday, October 17th!

Passport to Fashion Students are invited to celebrate global cultures by dressing in the traditional clothing of a country of their choice. Students should arrive at school already dressed in their cultural attire. To honor and respect all cultures, we kindly ask families to be considerate when selecting costumes (i.e. no inflatable costumes, no cultural appropriation and sports jerseys are discouraged).

Passport to the World Stage Parents are welcome to join us in the cafeteria at 8 am for a special all-grade choral performance. After the performance, parents will head to the outdoor track to watch the students parade by in their traditional clothing. Families will have a few minutes to take photos and visit with their children before exiting through the track and field gates at approximately 9:00 am.

Passport to Adventure Throughout the day, students will experience live performances and presentations from musicians, dancers, and special guests representing our five featured countries.

Passport to International Eats Students will have the opportunity to sample authentic foods from each of the five spotlighted countries.

Passport Packing List Please send your child with a sack lunch, as the cafeteria will not be serving meals that day. If your child may be uncomfortable wearing their costume all day, feel free to pack a change of clothes.

*Do you own any traditional clothing or items from Azerbaijan, Barbados, Iceland, India or Spain? We would love to feature them in the display case outside the cafeteria throughout October. Please email Allie Walton if you have items to lend.
