• When: Monday, April 8th – Thursday, April 18th
• You can purchase Spring Fling prize tickets for $1 each. Tickets will be automatically placed in the specific drawing you designate at the time of purchase. 

CAFETERIA SALES

• When: Monday, April 15th – Friday, April 19th 
• Tickets purchased in the cafeteria are CASH ONLY.

Prizes are displayed outside the cafeteria for your lion cubs to preview and winners will be announced during BHE TV (4/15 - 4/19) and at Spring Fling. There are 17 prize / prize packages to choose from and you can make as many selections as you wish. You do not need to be present to win!

We are less than a month away from Spring Fling 2024 and we need your help to make it a ROARing good time! Below are two ways you can volunteer:

Note, this year we are updating our beloved "cake walk" to a "sweet stroll" in hopes that it is easier for everyone. Please sign up to deliver store bought baked goodies or candies to our Spring Fling team prior to the event (details can be found in the SignUp Genius).

We know how much free time we all have, right? Truly, we could not put this fun event together without the help of our amazing families, so THANK YOU for volunteering your time before, during and/or after the event and for making Spring Fling a success for everyone at BHE!

School Registration is Open

It is time to update your student's information to register for the 2024-2025 School Year! At this link, please choose one of the following based on your current situation:

1. “Returning Students: Update and Verify Enrollment” click this to update the information for each of your students. 
   • If you have an incoming kindergartener who went to Wildcat Way (or another district preschool) or if your 5th grader will be going to middle school next year, you will fill out the same form for them.
2. “New Students: Register to Begin Enrollment” if you have an incoming kindergartener who is NOT currently attending a district preschool

In Skyward, you will click on the Online Registration tab and select your student for the 2024-2025 school year (see picture for reference). Please follow the instructions in Skyward and verify/update all information.

Summer Credit by Exam Sessions

If you are interested in your child taking the Credit by Exam to accelerate up a grade level in math or an entire grade level, the deadline to submit an application for the June or July administration is Wednesday, April 26th. 

We encourage interested parents to enroll their child in the summer testing sessions rather than wait until the fall testing session. Students who pass the CBE in the summer will start the 2025-2025 school year in their accelerated grade level.

iKids U offers a variety of after-school opportunities onsite at BHE, including Stay & Play, Enrichment and 1:1 services. Customize your child’s after-school schedule with part-time and full-time options from 1-5 days per week.

5th Grade Farewell

It's time to start collecting pictures for the 5th Grade Farewell video! Email pictures to Natalie Alexander with your child's name and teacher as the subject line.

Please include the following three (3) pictures* for each 5th Grader:

1. One (1) Baby photo (this will also be used by the Yearbook Team) 
2. One (1) Kindergarten photo 
3. One (1) 5th Grade photo

*Pictures should be less than 5MB each. Please try to submit all 3 photos in the same email. 

Kindergarten and 5th Grade photos do not need to be a school photo, although you're welcome to send those. Please do not submit blurry photos or pictures of pictures taken on a computer screen or through a picture frame.
