BHE Dad's Club
8/25/2025 7:00 pm
The BHE Dads’ Club welcomes all students to Bunker Hill for the 2025-2026 school year. The Dads’ Club is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization that provides our children with a well-maintained, safe, practical place to play sports during and after school. To maintain our fields to their current quality standards, the Dads’ Club allocates $50,000.00 per year for ongoing up-keep, field painting, landscaping and water. These fields are used by all students throughout the school day and are utilized after school by our athletic teams.
To make this happen, we rely heavily on membership dues and donations. Anyone who has children at BHE is eligible to join, and all are welcome. If you are interested in signing up, please use our GiveButter link. Click on "$150 2025-2026 BHE Dads’ Club Dues," and press "Continue.” On the next screen, there is an optional 15% tip automatically selected for "GiveButter.” Click on the 15%, select "Other," and set it to $0.00, so you do not have to pay GiveButter anything additional. We are also taking sponsorship donations for field signs to be hung along the main driveway of the school on the fence bordering the fields.
Aside from field maintenance, Dads’ Club works closely with the PTA to assist with Teacher Appreciation and other events at BHE. Dads’ Club also supports our Watch D.O.G.S. program. (See below for more information.) Again, if you are not currently involved in the BHE Dads’ Club, we would love for you to join. We will have quarterly events (Happy Hours, Poker Night, Home Run Derby, Pickleball, Corn Hole, etc.), which are a great way to get to know the other dads at school.

Cub Scouts
8/19/2023 2:14 pm
Bunker Hill Elementary Cub Scout Pack 558 invites all BHE boys in grades 1st - 5th to join.
Cub Scouts have fun and adventure in a program that builds character and instills values. Cub Scouting embraces the values of the Scout Law, encouraging scouts to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. These values come to boys in all parts of the Cub Scout program - while they’re having a great time with their friends and families. Scouting is aimed at building character, learning citizenship, developing personal fitness, and the organization and activities of scouting are geared to fulfilling these.
Pack 558 at Bunker Hill has a lot of fun and exciting activities every year, including: fall and spring campouts, an overnight trip at a local attraction (previously, Moody Gardens, Houston Zoo, & Lone Star Flight Museum), pinewood derby, cake-bake and various other events and activities. All activities are family events. Yes, scouts’ siblings are welcome!
Previous enrollment is not necessary and parents are encouraged to participate. There are leadership positions available for anyone who wants to be more involved and advance the role of scouting at BHE! Our goal is to make Scouts work WITH the other BHE activities, including sports, not compete with them.
