Constitution Day

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! 5th Grade Constitution Day is Friday, September 19th! Students are asked to wear red, white, and blue attire to show their patriotism. They will learn about the 1780s and 1790s and what it was like to live during the period of The Constitution signing. The students will spend the day learning and participating in hands-on activities such as butter, quilting, doll, and silhouette making. They will also learn about the types of foods eaten during that time and how illnesses were treated.

**Volunteers are critical to making 5th Grade Constitution Day a success. If you are a 5th grade parent, please join us and sign-up!**

We are excited to be able to offer a short performance of “Hamilton,” a musical that tells the story of the Founding Fathers.

Our PTA will provide a Raising Canes lunch for the 5th grade students. If your child requires a special meal, be sure to send lunch with them on Constitution Day.
