Welcome from the PTA President
8/4/2025 7:00 pm
Dear BHE Family,
Happy New (School) Year! First, I would like to extend a warm welcome to those who are new to the BHE community. I am so happy you’re here, and I hope your family loves Bunker Hill Elementary School as much as mine does! I look forward to meeting you. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions as school begins.
To our returning families, welcome back! This year marks BHE's 70th anniversary—a testament to our enduring legacy of learning. As we celebrate our past, let's work together to uphold BHE's tradition of excellence.
One of the things that makes BHE so special is the strong connection between school and home, particularly through the PTA. This year, the PTA will work closely with administrators and faculty to organize enriching programs, host engaging events, and provide valuable resources that enhance the academic curriculum. We are committed to supporting the educators who facilitate our children’s learning every day. Everything we do undergirds the school’s mission to develop innovative thinkers, lifelong achievers and tomorrow’s leaders.
Participation in the PTA is a meaningful way to build relationships with faculty, staff, students and fellow parents. Whether you can volunteer your time, share your skills, or contribute in other ways, every contribution is valuable. Together, we can ensure that BHE remains a place where students grow academically and are prepared for future success.
On behalf of the entire PTA Executive Team, I want to express our enthusiasm for the year ahead. We are here to support you, so please reach out if needed! I encourage you to visit the PTA website, check the school calendar, and stay updated through the weekly e-blast. I am eager to see everyone at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, August 12th, and at our other Back-to-School events. Let's work together to create a memorable and rewarding 2025-2026 school year for our children. Wishing you all a fantastic start!
Go Lions!
