Important 5th Grade Dates

We can’t wait to celebrate our 5th graders as they complete their journey at Bunker Hill Elementary! Our teachers and volunteers are planning a special final week of school, and we invite you to join us in making these moments unforgettable.

5th Grade Farewell Schedule of Events

We encourage all 5th grade families to attend the following events:

• WEDNESDAY, MAY 29TH
  • Farewell Ceremony @ 9:30 am, BHE
    • Refreshments + Family Pictures begin at 8:30 am
  • Lunch & Video @ 12:20 pm, BHE Cafeteria
    • Parents, please bring lunch for yourself and student
  • Throughout the day, we will have games, inflatables and treats that will be supported by volunteers. Note, only volunteers can be on campus for those activities.
• THURSDAY, MAY 30TH
  • Strut Down Strey @ 12:30 pm
    • Following the parade, 5th graders will head to the Memorial Forest Club for their pool party (this is a students only event)

Parent Information Packet & Permission Slips

• Please be on the lookout for detailed information from your homeroom teacher regarding the 5th schedule of events + permission slip. 
• It's crucial we receive signed forms for your child to participate in all of the fun activities. Completed forms must be returned to your child’s homeroom teacher by Friday, May 10th.

Want to Volunteer?

• Please sigh-up to volunteer and help with set-up, games, student check-in & check-out and the walk from BHE to Memorial Forest Club. 
• While all parents are encouraged to attend the farewell ceremony and lunch, only volunteers will be able to participate in the farewell games and pool party.

School Registration is Open

It is time to update your student's information to register for the 2024-2025 School Year! At this link, please choose one of the following based on your current situation:

1. “Returning Students: Update and Verify Enrollment” click this to update the information for each of your students. 
   • If you have an incoming kindergartener who went to Wildcat Way (or another district preschool) or if your 5th grader will be going to middle school next year, you will fill out the same form for them.
2. “New Students: Register to Begin Enrollment” if you have an incoming kindergartener who is NOT currently attending a district preschool

In Skyward, you will click on the Online Registration tab and select your student for the 2024-2025 school year (see picture for reference). Please follow the instructions in Skyward and verify/update all information.

iKids U After-School at BHE

It's time to register for iKids U After-School at BHE 2024-2025 school year! 

iKids U offers a variety of after-school opportunities onsite at BHE, including Stay & Play, Enrichment and 1:1 services. Customize your child’s after-school schedule with part-time and full-time options from 1-5 days per week. 

Siblings attending Wildcat Way may be eligible to attend iKids at BHE.
