BHE International Day

The 2025 BHE International Day will be held on October 17th. Students will dress up in traditional attire from around the world for the morning parade and choral presentation, which parents will be invited to attend. Children will then spend the rest of the day learning about the cultures of this year's featured countries by engaging in crafts, food tastings and performances.

ABOUT INTERNATIONAL DAY

Let's Dress Up! Kids are welcome to choose ANY country they’d like to honor by dressing in the local traditional clothing of that culture. Students should arrive at school already wearing their costume.

Parade! The day will start with a fun parade routing inside the first floor of the school for all participating students to show off their cultural threads to family members, non-participating classmates, and staff. The students will end the parade at the cafeteria/ gym with songs prepared by Ms. Bezemek, BHE's music teacher.

Performances! Throughout the day, the students will be inspired by dancers, storytellers, and musicians showcasing the history and sounds representing the featured countries.

Food Booths! We will have a sampling of tasty tidbits for your students to enjoy inspired by the five spotlighted cultures.

Crafts! All students will have the opportunity to work on their artistic skills with crafts inspired by our featured countries.

Guest Pre-registration!  A form will be sent to all guests to fill out in advance to speed entry.
