ABOUT CONSTITUTION DAY
In September of 1787, the Founding Fathers signed the most influential document in American history: the United States Constitution. The Constitution is the world’s longest surviving written charter of government.
5th Graders should dress in red, white, and blue attire to show their patriotism!
Lunch - We are pleased to provide lunch for all fifth graders. If your child requires a special meal or additional food, please send it that day.
Students will learn about the 1780 and 1790s and what it was like to live during the time period. They will spend the day learning and participating in hands-on activities such as butter, candle, doll, and silhouette making. They will also learn about the foods of the period and how illnesses were treated.
