BHE Spelling Bee

Attention Spellers! We are preparing our intermediate students for our annual Bunker Hill School Spelling Bee! The process begins with Classroom Spelling Bees for grades 3-5 on Wednesday, October 18th. For reference, here are grade-level study lists, which were also sent home last week.

Two representatives from each homeroom class in grades 3rd through 5th will receive a spelling bee t-shirt and will compete in our School Spelling Bee to be held on Wednesday, December 6th at 8:45 AM in the BHE Cafeteria. Parents are encouraged to attend! The winner and runner-up of this bee will go on to represent Bunker Hill at the District Spelling Bee.

Please enjoy the process of preparing for this event. Remember, your child is allowed to ask for a word to be repeated, its definition, usage in a sentence and origin of language.
