International Day 2023

Join as we celebrate International Day on Friday, October 20th, highlighting the following countries:
Australia • Cuba • Morocco • The Netherlands • South Korea
Let's dress up! Kids are welcome to choose ANY country they'd like to honor by dressing in the local traditional clothing of that culture. Students should arrive at school already wearing their costume.
Parade! The day will start with a fun parade for all participating students to show off their cultural threads to family memebers, non-participating classmates and staff. The students will end the parade at the cafeteria / gym with songs prepared by BHE's music teacher, Ms. Bezemek.
Performances! Throughout the day, the students will be inspired by musicians, dancers and other special guests, showcasing the history and sounds of the featured countries.
Food Booths! We will have a sampling of tasty food for your students to enjoy inspired by the five spotlighted cultures.
Guest Pre-Registration. A form will be sent to all guests to fill out in advance to speed entry into the parade.
Volunteers! Be sure to register to be an approved SBISD volunteer so you can sign-up to volunteer and celebrate with our students!
